About Me

Faye (She/They/Fae) is a watercolor illustrator and bookbinder, focusing on queer narratives.

For centuries, illustration has allowed artists to visualize a world beyond reality, crafting fantasies of worlds of magic and mayhem. Through the interconnecting pages of books, I craft similarly fantastical narratives, reflective of my experience as a queer, disabled woman. Elements of nature and mythical stories are constant companions within my illustrations, connecting historical, fairytale narratives and modern, personal experiences. The process of illustrating directly connects me to this past and the world around me, documenting and sharing my magical viewpoint.
